As a husband and father of five, Kenneth Braswell created Fathers Incorporated (FI) and has been the FI CEO since its inception in 2004. The agency focuses on serving others, nationally and internationally, and has provided capacity building services to thousands of organizations working to ensure that fathers contribute to the well-being of their children. FI is currently the prime contractor for the National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse (Fatherhood.gov). Braswell is also the author of “When The Tear Won’t Fall: One Man’s Journey Through The Intimate Struggles of Manhood and Fatherhood,” as well as four children’s books, including “Daddy, There’s A Noise Outside.” In addition to writing books, Mr. Braswell is also the creator of three powerful documentaries, including “Spit’in Anger: Venom of a Fatherless Son” and “A Queen’s Discovery.” With over 30 years’ servicing family and community, Braswell is a sought-after keynote speaker, trainer, and media consultant in issues related to faith, family, and fatherhood, with an intentional focus on Black men and boys.
